The Hori-Zone Crank Cocker crossbow crank cocking device is a mechanical cocking tool that pulls the string with a crank, without the shooter having to apply force directly to it.

It is particularly useful on crossbows with a high draw weight and in situations where it is hard to stand up or make wide movements, such as night stands: it lets you cock at the moment, instead of cocking well in advance and risking being detected.
