NOCPIX THERMAL BINOCULARS QUEST H50R LRF
Nocpix QUEST H50R thermal binoculars with a 1000 m laser rangefinder: 15 mK 640×512 sensor at 60 Hz, 50 mm F1.1 lens, two 1920×1200 AMOLED displays, detection up to 2600 m and 700 g. Built-in battery plus a replaceable 18650, IP67.
The Nocpix QUEST H50R thermal binoculars have a built-in 1000 m laser rangefinder, a 640×512 pixel sensor with NETD ≤15 mK and a 50 mm F1.1 objective lens. The QUEST series keeps the shape of traditional binoculars, with one display for each eye, and is built for hunting, wildlife observation and night scanning, by night and by day.
Features
- 640×512 sensor at 12 µm, NETD ≤15 mK and 60 Hz: uncooled VOx detector (8 to 14 µm) with the R+ image algorithm and electronic image stabilisation (EIS), for a sharp, stable and smooth image even with the animal moving.
- 50 mm F1.1 objective lens: 8.8° × 7.0° field of view (15 × 12 m at 100 m), 4x to 32x magnification (1x to 8x digital zoom on its own ring) and a 2600 m detection range for a 1.7 × 0.5 m target.
- 1000 m laser rangefinder: class 1 laser concealed in the body, with no visible module. The reading feeds the ballistic calculator and, with N-Link in the NOCPIX app, the distance can be shared with a compatible Nocpix riflescope.
- Two 0.72-inch AMOLED displays: 1920×1200, one per eyepiece, with 25 mm eye relief, a 10 mm exit pupil and ±5 dioptre adjustment on each side. Interpupillary distance adjusts from 63 to 72 mm.
- Comfortable viewing: adjustable palette, hue and brightness, a low-brightness mode and warm hue for long sessions, an Ultra-clear mode for rain and fog, and picture-in-picture.
- Two batteries: a built-in 4200 mAh battery plus a replaceable 18650 that can be swapped without interrupting observation. Up to 6 hours of operation at 22 °C; the USB-C port accepts a 5 V power bank.
- One-handed use: four buttons, a central focus wheel and a middle zoom ring, with a non-slip grip. It weighs 700 g without the replaceable battery.
- Recording and durability: photo and video with sound on 64 GB of internal memory, Wi-Fi for the app, full rubber coating and IP67 protection, from −20 °C to +50 °C.
Why choose this model?
The QUEST H50R is for those who mainly observe open ground at longer distances: the 50 mm F1.1 lens gives 4x base magnification and a 2600 m detection range, at the same 700 g as the H35R. According to the manufacturer, the H50R is the right choice when 640×512 detail is enough and 4x base magnification better matches more distant observation.
Viewing with both eyes is more natural than with a monocular: Nocpix describes the 25 mm eye relief and 10 mm exit pupil as designed for long observation sessions.

How to choose
The QUEST H35R (640×512, 35 mm F0.9, 12.5° field and 3x to 24x magnification) suits woodland and short to medium distances. The QUEST H50R keeps the 640×512 sensor with a 50 mm F1.1 lens: 8.8° field, 4x to 32x magnification and detection up to 2600 m, for observing further away. The QUEST S50R moves to the 1280×1024 sensor with the same 50 mm lens: a wide 17.5° × 14.0° field at 2x and more detail when zooming, at 750 g against 700 g for the other two. All three have a 1000 m rangefinder, the same displays and the same batteries.
Frequently asked questions
How far does the QUEST H50R rangefinder measure?
Up to 1000 m, according to the manufacturer, with a class 1 laser built into the body.
At what distance does it detect an animal?
The manufacturer states 2600 m for a 1.7 × 0.5 m target. Detection means seeing that there is a heat source; recognising and identifying the animal requires much shorter distances.
What batteries does it use?
It has a built-in 4200 mAh battery and takes a replaceable 18650. The 18650 is charged in the external charger supplied in the box, with two batteries; the built-in battery charges via USB-C.
Can it be used during the day?
Yes. The manufacturer states day and night use, adjusting display brightness, image mode and palette to the ambient light.
Does it share the distance with a riflescope?
Yes, with compatible Nocpix riflescopes: after pairing in the NOCPIX app, the N-Link connection sends the measured distance and related data.
