Frequently asked questions
FQ50 or FQ50L? The thermal part is the same. The FQ50L adds a 1000 m laser rangefinder, is slightly longer and weighs 583 g.
What is the advantage of the F0.9 lens? It lets in more thermal radiation than an F1.0 lens of the same diameter, which helps keep contrast and detail at long range.
Can it be mounted on a rifle? No. It is a handheld observation monocular, with no reticle and no weapon mount.
Does it work in daylight and through glass? It works day and night, because it senses heat, not light. It cannot see through glass.
