The X-BOW FMA Supersonic Reverse XL pistol crossbow applies the compound principle to a reverse build: the limbs are mounted the other way round from usual, which at first sight looks like an assembly mistake but is intentional. That arrangement, combined with differently shaped cams, lengthens the power stroke and increases the force applied to the bolt.

The result is a speed of 420 fps in a very compact body, a figure that X-BOW FMA Engineering associates with shooting distances of up to around 60 metres. The Supersonic cable system, kept in this reverse version, makes cocking easier.

  • Reverse limbs with lengthened power stroke cams
  • Speed of 420 fps
  • Cable system for cocking

Use only bolts of the length and the weight specified for this crossbow; unsuitable bolts compromise accuracy and the equipment itself.
