String for the EK Cobra Siege crossbow, sold by the unit. It is the replacement part indicated by EK Archery Research for this model.

The string is a wear part: with the shots, the centre serving opens and the fibres fray, above all in the area that sits on the nut. Changing it in time avoids a break during a shot, which damages the limbs.

Fitting is done with a crossbow press or with the model's own cocking system, according to the manual. Confirm the reference of your crossbow before ordering, because strings are not interchangeable between models.
