GUIDE FUSION THERMAL BINOCULARS TN650MS APEX VISION 640X512 4K
Guide TN650MS fusion thermal binoculars (APEX VISION): 640×512 thermal detector with 15 mK NETD and a 4K low-light CMOS camera in the same device, laser rangefinder up to 1500 m, GPS and 256 GB of memory.
The Guide TN650MS fusion thermal binoculars, from the TN Muo 2.0 Series (APEX VISION range), combine two sensors in a single device: a 640×512 thermal detector with 15 mK NETD and a 3840×2160 (4K) low-light CMOS camera. They show the animal's heat and, at the same time, the real image of the terrain, and have a laser rangefinder up to 1500 m, GPS and a digital compass. They are intended for night hunting and for those who want to use the same device by day and by night.
Features
- Thermal + visible fusion: the 640×512 detector at 12 μm and the 4K camera combine the two images; the manufacturer sums it up as fusion vision with zero blind spots.
- Two dedicated lenses: 50 mm F1.0 thermal and 70 mm F1.8 digital, with 3.9x to 31.2x magnification on the thermal channel and 5.4x to 43.2x on the digital channel.
- Range: detection up to 2600 m (2800 yards) on the thermal channel and 1300 m (1400 yards) on the digital channel, according to the manufacturer.
- 1500 m laser rangefinder, GPS and digital compass: distance, direction and position in the same device, for informed decisions.
- Image modes: seven thermal palettes (White Hot, Black Hot, Red Hot, Green Hot, Iron Red, Blue Hot, Sepia) and three visible modes: day, night and low light.
- 0.49-inch Full HD AMOLED display and viewing with both eyes: interpupillary distance from 58 to 72 mm, −6 to +6 dioptre and a one-handed focus wheel.
- 256 GB of memory: records photo and video with sound; 2.4 and 5 GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB-C with charging, power and data.
- Rugged: IP67, −20 °C to 50 °C, automatic display switch-off and a built-in battery plus an external 18650, for around 5 hours.
Why choose this model?
A thermal-only binocular shows heat signatures; the TN650MS adds the visible image from the 4K camera, useful at dusk, at dawn and for reading the terrain around the animal. Compared with the TN650LS, it has the same 640×512 thermal detector and the same rangefinder, but adds the 4K low-light camera and 256 GB of memory (against 64 GB). In return it weighs more (1110 g against 720 g) and lasts less per charge (5 h against 7 h).
It suits hunters and security or search and rescue professionals who use the same device by day and by night. It is an observation device and is not mounted on a rifle.

How to choose
If use is almost entirely at night and weight matters, the thermal-only binoculars of the TN 2.0 Series (TN450LS and TN650LS) are enough and last longer per charge. If the same device has to work at dusk, by day and at night, or if seeing terrain detail in visible light matters, the fusion of the TN650MS is the difference. None of these binoculars is a riflescope: for aiming with a rifle, use a thermal riflescope or clip-on.
Frequently asked questions
What are fusion binoculars?
They are binoculars with two sensors: a thermal one, which sees heat, and a visible-light camera. The TN650MS combines a 640×512 detector and a 4K low-light camera.
Does the Guide TN650MS have GPS?
Yes. The manufacturer lists a built-in 1500 m laser rangefinder, GPS and digital compass.
How long does the battery last?
Around 5 hours, with the built-in battery and an external 18650. The box includes two 18650s and the charger, so there is one in reserve.
How much does it weigh?
1110 g, at 235×134×63 mm. It is heavier than the thermal-only TN 2.0 models (around 720 g) because of the second lens and the 4K sensor.
Can it be mounted on a rifle?
No. It is a handheld observation device; for aiming there are thermal riflescopes and clip-ons.
Are thermal binoculars a weapon accessory?
No. Thermal binoculars are an observation device, not a weapon or a weapon accessory.
