NOCPIX DIGITAL NIGHT VISION RIFLESCOPE NITE D70R LRF
Nocpix NITE D70R digital night vision riflescope: 3536×3536 (12 MP) colour sensor at 60 Hz, 70 mm F2.0 objective lens, 5x to 40x magnification, 1200 m laser rangefinder with ballistics and 30 mm tube. Not thermal; at night it uses an IR illuminator (not included).
The Nocpix NITE D70R digital night vision riflescope is a day and night scope with a 3536×3536 pixel colour sensor (12 megapixels, 4K Ultra format), a 70 mm F2.0 objective lens and a built-in 1200 m laser rangefinder with ballistic calculator. It is not a thermal scope: by day it shows a colour image, and at night it works in low light or with an infrared illuminator. It is designed for long-range deer and fox hunting, with the look of a classic day scope and a 30 mm tube.
Features
- 3536×3536 sensor at 2 µm and 60 Hz: 12 megapixels on a 1/1.6-inch sensor, with about 50% more pixels than conventional 4K solutions according to the manufacturer. 60 Hz imaging keeps moving animals sharp.
- 70 mm F2.0 telephoto objective lens: 5x base magnification and continuous zoom up to 40x, with up to 15x lossless magnification. 5.8° × 5.8° field of view (10 × 10 m at 100 m) and daytime detection up to 1500 m.
- 1200 m laser rangefinder: accuracy of less than 1 m and an integrated design that improves optical axis consistency. The ballistic calculator supports several calibres and gives a corrected aiming point.
- Night vision: low-light sensor (down to 0.001 lux) and multi-coated optics. With an 850 nm or 940 nm infrared illuminator (accessory) it can observe up to 200 m in total darkness.
- 0.72-inch round AMOLED display, 1920×1200: 48 mm eye relief, 10 mm exit pupil and −5 to +5 dioptre adjustment, for long observation without eye strain.
- 0.3 MOA per click zeroing: one-piece aluminium alloy body, tested with 20,000 cycles of 6000 J impacts to hold zero.
- Two batteries: a built-in 4000 mAh battery and an externally accessible, replaceable 18650, for up to 7 hours of operation.
- Recording and connectivity: video with sound and recoil-activated video on 64 GB of internal memory, picture-in-picture (PIP), 7 reticle types, colour modes (day, night, orange and green) and Wi-Fi for the Nocpix app.
Why choose this model?
The NITE D70R is for hunters who want a long-reaching digital day and night riflescope: the 70 mm lens and 5x base magnification give a close, detailed image at long range, and the rangefinder with ballistics helps correct the trajectory. Unlike a thermal scope, it shows real colours and detail by day, which helps identify the species and the trophy.
In total darkness it depends on an infrared illuminator, sold separately. If you want a wider field of view, an 8000×6000 sensor and less weight, look at the NITE PRO D50R.

How to choose
Nocpix offers two digital day and night riflescopes with a 1200 m rangefinder. The NITE D70R focuses on reach: 70 mm F2.0 objective lens, 5x base magnification (up to 40x), 3536×3536 sensor and up to 7 hours of battery life, at 1110 g. The NITE PRO D50R focuses on image quality and speed: 8000×6000 sensor, brighter 50 mm F1.25 lens, 3x to 36x magnification with a wider field, 1.03-inch 2560×2560 display, Target Sync and a magnesium body at 980 g, with up to 6 hours of battery life. Neither is a thermal scope: to see in total darkness they need an infrared illuminator.
Frequently asked questions
Is the NITE D70R a thermal scope?
No. It is a digital night vision scope: it forms the image from visible and near-infrared light. At night it needs some ambient light or an infrared illuminator.
Does it come with an infrared illuminator?
No. There is no illuminator in the box; the manufacturer states an observation range of up to 200 m with an 850 nm or 940 nm illuminator, sold as an accessory.
What mounting rings does the NITE D70R use?
It has a 30 mm tube, like a day scope, and mounts with 30 mm rings suited to the rail on your rifle. Rings are not included.
What batteries does it use?
It has a built-in 4000 mAh battery and takes a replaceable 18650, for up to 7 hours. Two 18650 batteries and a charger come in the box.
What is the minimum magnification?
Base magnification is 5x, with continuous zoom up to 40x. For close observation or dense cover, the NITE PRO D50R starts at 3x.
