Guide TU1260MS multispectral riflescope, the highest-resolution model in the TU Muo 3.0 series (APEX VISION): 1280×1024 thermal sensor with a 60 mm objective lens and detection up to 3200 m, 1920×1080 CMOS digital channel for day and night, laser rangefinder up to 1500 m and IR illuminator included.

The Guide TU1260MS thermal and night vision riflescope is the highest-resolution model in the TU Muo 3.0 series: a 1280×1024 thermal sensor with 15 mK NETD behind a 60 mm F1.0 objective lens, plus a 1920×1080 CMOS digital channel for daylight and low light. Unveiled by Guide at SHOT Show 2026, it combines thermal detection up to 3200 m, a laser rangefinder up to 1500 m and a 14.6° × 11.7° thermal field of view.

Features

  • 1280×1024 thermal sensor at 12 μm: four times the pixels of a 640×512. The manufacturer highlights that details such as deer antlers or wild boar hair stay sharp at 10x magnification.
  • 60 mm F1.0 thermal objective lens with a wide field: 14.6° × 11.7°, or 25 × 20 m at 100 m, and 2.3x to 36.8x magnification. Thanks to the large sensor, it sees more ground than the 50 mm TU650MS (8.8°) and, at the same time, detects further: 3200 m (3500 yards).
  • 1920×1080 CMOS digital channel at 2.9 μm: 35 mm F4.0 objective lens, 6.4° × 5.1° field, 5.1x to 81.6x magnification, day, night and low-light modes, with detection up to 330 m.
  • Laser rangefinder up to 1500 m (1630 yards): works with the TargetIR ballistics app, which according to Guide has an ammunition database, automatic weather and humidity updates and custom profiles.
  • IR illuminator included: with bracket, to support the digital channel at night.
  • 1.03-inch QHD AMOLED display (2560×2560): 60 mm eye relief, −5 to +5 dioptre adjustment, seven thermal palettes.
  • Memory and power: 256 GB for photo and video with sound; two built-in 18650s and one external 18650, up to 9 hours.
  • Construction: IP68, impacts up to 6000 J, −20 °C to 50 °C, shutterless during observation, 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Why choose this model?

The TU1260MS is for the hunter who wants the highest thermal resolution in the TU Muo 3.0 series in a scope that also sees by day. The 1280×1024 resolution allows heavy zooming without losing detail, and the 14.6° field makes it easier to find the animal before zooming in.

The limits are weight and battery life: 1145 g and up to 9 hours, against 1013 g and 12 hours for the TU650MS. It is also taller (91 mm against 84 mm), although 7 mm shorter.

How to choose

The resolution of the thermal sensor matters most when zooming in heavily: on a 1280×1024 sensor, digital zoom starts losing detail much later than on a 640×512. If the priority is clear identification at long range together with a wide field, the TU1260MS is the choice in the TU Muo 3.0 series. If weight and hours of use count for more, the TU650MS has the same digital channel, the same display and the same rangefinder, at 1013 g and 12 hours.

Frequently asked questions

What is the thermal resolution of the Guide TU1260MS?
1280×1024 pixels at 12 μm, with 15 mK NETD. The digital channel is 1920×1080.

Does the TU1260MS have a rangefinder?
Yes, a laser rangefinder, up to 1500 m (1630 yards).

How long does the TU1260MS battery last?
Up to 9 hours, with two built-in 18650 batteries and one swappable external battery.

What is the difference between the TU1260MS and the TU650MS?
The TU1260MS has a 1280×1024 thermal sensor and a 60 mm objective lens, with a 14.6° field and detection up to 3200 m. The TU650MS has 640×512 and 50 mm, with an 8.8° field and detection up to 2600 m, but weighs less (1013 g against 1145 g) and lasts longer (12 hours against 9).

Can it be used for observing in daylight?
Yes. The CMOS digital channel has day mode, night mode and low-light mode, and it comes with an IR illuminator.
