HIKMICRO THUNDER TQ50CL 4.0 THERMAL CLIP-ON WITH LRF
Thermal clip-on from the Thunder 4.0 series with a 640×512, 12 µm sensor, NETD below 12 mK, a 50 mm F1.0 lens and a laser rangefinder up to 1200 m, for night hunting at medium and long range, with detection up to 2600 m. It fits in front of your day scope (1× to 15×). 1920×1080 AMOLED display and at least 6 hours of runtime.
The Hikmicro Thunder TQ50CL 4.0 is the 50 mm thermal clip-on of the fourth Thunder generation, designed for hunters in open ground who need to know the exact distance to the animal. It goes in front of the objective of the day scope you already use, and you then see the thermal image through it, for night hunting, without removing the scope from the rifle or changing its magnification. It combines a 640×512 sensor with NETD below 12 mK, detection up to 2600 m and a laser rangefinder up to 1200 m housed in the lens, in a body only 119.5 mm long. With an eyepiece, sold separately, it also works as a thermal monocular.
Features
- 640×512, 12 µm sensor: uncooled array at 50 Hz, with NETD below 12 mK to separate the animal from the background even with little thermal contrast.
- Laser rangefinder in the lens: 905 nm, class 1 laser, from 10 to 1200 m; accuracy of ±1 m below 400 m and ±0.3 m above.
- 50 mm F1.0 lens: detection up to 2600 m and an 8.8° × 7.0° field of view (15.4 m at 100 m).
- For scopes up to 15×: 1× magnification in clip-on mode; the manufacturer recommends day scopes from 1× to 15×.
- 0.49-inch AMOLED display: 1920×1080, adaptive brightness and six palettes (Black Hot, White Hot, Red Hot, Fusion, red and green monochrome).
- Image Pro 4.0, HSIS and Sync Pro: updated image processing, shutterless image and real-time response.
- 1 MOA precision: stated by the manufacturer, with image calibration and 5 zeroing profiles.
- 6000 J resistance: body and lens cover in magnesium alloy, IP67, from -30 °C to +50 °C.
- HM-3840DC battery: at least 6 hours with the rangefinder on (25 °C, hotspot off), direct charging via USB-C.

Frequently asked questions
What changes compared with the TQ50CL 3.0? NETD below 12 mK (previously 15 mK), rangefinder up to 1200 m (previously 1000 m), AMOLED display, Image Pro 4.0, 6000 J resistance, one more hour of runtime and a body about 30 mm shorter, with the same 50 mm lens.
TQ50CL 4.0 or TQ35CL 4.0? The TQ50CL reaches further (2600 m versus 1800 m) and gives more magnification in monocular mode. The TQ35CL has a wider field of view, 21.9 m at 100 m, and is lighter.
Do I need to re-zero the rifle? The manufacturer states a guaranteed 1 MOA precision with the clip-on fitted. If fine-tuning is needed, it has image calibration and 5 profiles.
Is the scope adapter included? It is not on the package list. It is chosen according to the objective diameter of your day scope.
Can I use it as a monocular? Yes, with the dedicated eyepiece, sold separately; in monocular mode magnification ranges from 3.4× to 27.2×.
