The AAE Elite EP26 plastic vanes belong to the Elite Plastifletch range from Arizona Archery. They are vanes in a material with good memory, that is, they recover their shape after passing over the arrow rest or through the target.
The base is concave and carries a glue activator applied at the factory, which makes gluing onto the shaft easier. The textured surface helps steer the arrow in flight.
- Length: 2 7/8 inches
- Height: 0.500 inches
- Weight: 7.2 grains per vane
- Set of 10 units
A larger vane stabilises flight more quickly but slows the arrow more; this size is one of the most used at medium and long distances.
